COVID-19 (Corona Virus) Testing and Screening

Our testing kits are now widely available for all patients interested in being tested.

There has been increasing concern on the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) across the United States and globally. Rest assured, the team at Urgentology Care has always been committed to providing a safe and family-friendly environment for all patients.

Accordingly, we are continuously monitoring the latest updates from the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) on COVID-19 screening and treatment. We are also working with local public health officials and our network of medical institutions nationwide to provide the most up-to-date medical diagnostics and treatment at our facility.

In order to maintain a safe environment for all patients, we have implemented temporary measures at our facility to avoid patients from contracting and spreading the virus. These measures have been taken in consultation and coordination with many urgent care centers nationwide.Below are key measures taken:

  • Any patient presenting with fever and cough, which are common symptoms to flu and COVID-19, are being asked to remain in their vehicle upon arrival to the clinic. Examination and testing will be performed in the comfort of their vehicle.
  • Any patient presenting with cough will be required to wear a surgical mask during their entire visit at the clinic.
  • All patients are encouraged to book appointments online through our website. It allows the clinic to screen patients ahead and reduce wait times in the lobby to minimize cross infection. Patients may receive a call from the clinic staff for further instructions based on screening.
  • We have launched a telemedicine platform. Patients are encouraged to use video visits. The same great providers you see in the clinic are available to address your medical concerns and order your prescriptions on a video visit. Read more about our telemedicine platform here.

If you think you have COVID-19 symptoms or think you have been exposed to COVID-19, below are some consideration points:
