Erika graduated with her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Harding University, and was inducted into the prestigious Sigma Theta Tau honor society. As someone that continues to strive for excellence, She became dual certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Erika built a wealth of experience in a career that spanned over 15 years including Emergency Departments at some of the biggest hospitals across the United States, as well as learning advanced aesthetic techniques.
Erika has also worked in a busy family practice south of Dallas in Primary Care prior to coming onboard with us. Erika believes in attention to every detail and has built a reputation of going the extra mile to provide the best care possible among her patients. Erika is also a US Veteran, and proudly served our nation as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army as a Patriot Missile Specialist, which is when she first fell in love with Texas.
Outside of work, Erika enjoys spending time with her Husband and 2-year old daughter, and often occupies her time reading medical research, doing trivia, and working out on her rowing machine.
